Meet Becky
Meet Becky:
It will be my privilege to write these devotions each week, and I wanted to introduce myself to you.
Calvary Chapel Boise has been my church home for the past 12 years. In fact, it was at the little brick church on Longmont that I met and fell in love with my husband, Pat. Ours was the last wedding held at the old church before we moved to the tent. We are now the proud parents of three kids. Time flies!
The last three years have been the most challenging of my life as I’ve dealt with the heartache of four consecutive pregnancy losses and two failed adoption attempts. It has been a beautiful three years, however, as I’ve lived out my faith like never before and felt the incredible touch of love from Jesus.
Many times throughout these trials I’ve thanked God for my church home and for the wonderful women at CCBoise. I am so excited to see the plans He has for our new website and for this blog.
As I write these devotions, I have three goals:
- To share my love for God’s Word
- To point hearts to Jesus
- To help women discover the joy of living for Him in our everyday lives
